Where are Avocados grown in Zimbabwe?
Production of Avocados in Zimbabwe began in the late 1980’s. The bulk of this is produced in Chipinge

Currently Zimbabwe exports 8500 Tones of avocados. Zimbabwe exports the hass variety.
Out grower Schemes
At the moment, there are plans to introduce an outgrower scheme which would be beneficial to local communities
CSR
The Zimbabwe Avocado Growers Association also offers assistance to schools through initiatives such as the Albert Heijn Foundation. The funds for this are available through Westfalia Marketing
Export Countries
Currently, Avocados are exported to the UK and the EU
